children 3 years old (and out of diapers) through 6 grade. Awana meets every Sunday night, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. throughout the traditional school year. CRBC provides a nursery

When you decide on Awana, fees apply. To cover the cost of uniforms, books and awards, we require a yearly registration fee of $25 for one child -or $50 for an
entire family. In addition, the clubs collect weekly dues of 50 cents per child. However, CRBC will never turn away a child because of financial hardship. Full
scholarships available for families in need.
What is Awana?
CRBC is excited to present Awana, the premiere ministry helping local churches reach children for Christ. Awana blends Bible teaching, scripture memorization and
tons of fun. The name AWANA is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2
Timothy 2:15.
You can bring your children to Awana with confidence. All leaders are trained, have passed background checks and are members of CRBC. Our Awana leaders style
is one of love and encouragement. The program is well funded and is a priority for the church.
CRBC offers 3 Awana clubs, each arranged by age. For 3 and 4 year olds, Cubbies is a safe, inviting, and very fun club that teaches
children about God using a storybook style that appeals to preschoolers. For Kindergarten through 2nd graders, combining both learning and fun,
Sparks immerses children into God's word with scripture memorization and frequent gospel presentations. And for 3rd through 6th graders,
Truth & Training (T&T) teaches the truth of God’s Word and trains children to follow Christ in their daily lives.
What Makes Awana Unique?
Clear, consistent presentation of the gospel
- Bible memory – our cornerstone
- Circle games exclusive to Awana
- A fun approach to learning God’s Word
- Leadership training that is second to none
- The church leaders of tomorrow trained to serve today
- Evangelistic focus designed to reach unchurched youth and their families
What are the Meetings Like?
An Awana meeting has three segments to provide start to finish learning (and maybe a bit of fun too!!!). Each has a purpose.
Led by the Games Director, every Awana Club meeting includes a high-energy Game Time featuring individual and team competition. Game Time unleashes
kids' natural energy and enthusiasm. The Awana Game Circle has universal appeal. Everyone participates.
Led by the Club Director, the whole club gathers for Council Time that includes a Bible message, singing, and announcements of upcoming events. Another
highlight of Council Time is the presentation of awards for individual handbook progress and team competition.
Trained Leaders assist the clubbers through Handbook Time. Clubbers develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. Clubbers are rewarded for
their achievements such as understanding and memorizing key Bible verses as they progress though their handbooks.
